Our Vision & Mission
Vision
Better Futures for Children envisions a world where the best available research evidence is disseminated and implemented to promote sustainable, positive and equitable outcomes for children and young people.
Mission
Better Futures for Children exists to promote sustainable, positive and equitable outcomes for children and adolescents in Kenya by advocating and supporting the dissemination and implementation of evidence- based school and after-school programs, interventions and practices.
Our Core Values
- Evidence-based approach: We ensure that our decisions and practices are evidence- based and equally informed by our professional and stakeholder values.
- Partnership and Collaboration: We prioritize strategic partnership and collaboration to support dissemination and implementation of evidence based interventions in schools and community settings.
- Accountability: We are accountable to our mission, to our donors, to our stakeholders, to our schools and communities and most importantly to Kenya’s children and adolescents.
- Learning and Innovation: We are committed to learning and implementing innovative ideas and solutions to deliver our mission.
- Sustainability: We adopt focused incremental approaches to implementation science in promoting sustainable, positive and equitable outcomes for children and adolescents in Kenya.
