Strategic Partnerships

Partnerships are at the heart of the way we work. We cannot empower, equip and connect the thousands of marginalized adolescents and youth in Kisumu City through our own efforts. To increase and sustain the impacts for adolescents and youth, Better Futures for Children will work partnerships with donors, foundations, businesses (private sector), governments, civil society organizations, adolescents and youth, institutions and individuals.

We can only deliver results and achieve greater impact for the thousands of vulnerable and at-risk adolescents and youth in the city, when we coordinate our efforts with other partners.  The problems and challenges that confront thousands of marginalized young people in Kisumu City require comprehensive and coordinated approach that draws on the expertise and contributions of many different actors. We will initiate and deepen cooperation with our strategic partners increase and sustain positive and sustainable outcomes for young people in Kisumu City. 

The relationships that we build with our donors, foundations, partners and collaborators allows us to leverage strategic resources and extend our reach thereby empowering and nurturing the capacity of the thousands of marginalized adolescents and youth, and widening the impact of our work. Working together, supporting each other and developing long term relationships allows Better Futures for Children to achieve far more than we could achieve alone.
